How do I get rid of the blue guide lines on a comic page?

I bought a Canson Fanboy Comic Book art board that is 11 x 17. I was wondering how you can get rid of the blue guide lines in Photoshop before coloring the page and whatnot?

Image - Adjustments - Channel Mixer
Change the preset to black&white with blue filter, click ok and it's done

I don't know how it works in other programs, but in photoshop, I open up the "channels" window, and I delete the green channel, and then I delete the "cyan" channel, so only the yellow channel is left. Then I convert the image to greyscale, and now I have just the non-blue part of the image!

Then you can go to Image > Adjustments > Levels to adjust how strong the contrast is and make your lines pop a little more.

Weird. I've never had that issue...are you scanning pencils, or finished ink pages? The only way I can see your scans doing that is if you're scanning the pages with the color setting or grayscale setting.
