How do I set a whole story as Mature?

The title is the question. How do I set the whole story to mature rather than an individual chapter. Because the story which I am writing has adult stuff in a some chapters, but doesn't have in some other chapters. So, I want to label the whole story as mature, and not just individual chapters.

Would not then marking only those chapters with adult stuff as 'Mature' be appropriate to do?

But what about people under 18 who read the few non-adult chapters? Won't they get eager to read the Mature ones? So, to avoid that, I wanted to mark the whole story as mature rather than just individual chapters. But if it's not possible, then I'll just put a warning in an introductory chapter, and then only label the adult chapters as mature.

Content Warning at the start with marked chapters is the best way to go about it. If it's a story with mature themes (like say, heavy drug abuse is one scene), that's the best thing to do; while a story about mature themes (character deals with heavy drug abuse the whole story almost), then it needs to be tagged entirely.

Not sure if it can be done after the series is created though, it might indeed need to have every chapter tagged in that case.

The thing is there's currently no way to do so now on tapas. I just put a content warning in my summary and only mark chapters with explicit content as mature and with a little warning in bold at the begining of them on the content.

I have that problem too, it's a relationship story and the characters will also talk about sexual things and have sex but not every episode is about sex

like others have said and since i doubt tapas would add this feature i think the best bet for anyone trying to do so would just be putting a warning in the description and/or one of those little 18+ markers in a corner of the cover. as for the description, something quick n simple that makes clear "this story covers mature or heavy topics including: x,y,z" and then mark chapters accordingly

For practical reasons concerning app store rules, Tapas has it so that individual episodes are marked mature. If a whole story was set as mature, then it wouldn't be allowed to be shown on the app at all which would reduce visibility greatly.

If you want to denote that your series is for mature audiences, simply make a disclaimer as your first episode and include content warnings to let your potential readers know what they're getting into.

Minors will find a way to read nsfw stuff regardless. Even if there was an age verification system in place, they would find a way around that too if they really wanted. All you can really do is protect your bases with a disclaimer and state 'No minors allowed.'.
