How do you automate updates through discord?

I use Tapas to host my comic and discord to post the updates to. The bot I use usually posts 10 minutes after the update happens and I'm wondering if there's a way for it to post the minute the update happens and how to do it; or if it's maybe just an RSS issue (which, honestly, total tech noob here, I don't know a lot about)

I've had the same issue for my bot RSSbot when it needs to fetch updates from the site Royal Road which is a similar size to Tapas. Sometimes it can be up to half an hour! I think the size of the sites is what causes it, because if the bot is asked to fetch from my personal site quinlancircle.com it goes almost immediately. And unless you make your own bot I assume it can't be changed (but don't quote me on that).

interesting! looks like im just gonna have to wait until i'm able to host on my own site (or someone makes a tapas specific discord bot somehow??)
