Working with your dreams? That does sound interesting, and pretty cool in my opinion as well. And reverse engineering with your characters is something I've never done, so always fun to learn a new methodology.

Now, I'm obviously here because I was super intrigued by your questions.
Main Idea for the Novel
Curse of Immortals: Tempestatem first started in 2015. It started as Tempestatem, and has since underwent many changes. I've often been in love with the idea of building my own universe, my own set of races, their traits, their unique characteristics and more. While I do play with tones of mythology, I've still enjoyed my process of race and lore creation, unique to Mioverold. The core theme has never changed, however. It started from a simple idea - what if a world was satured with powerful entities, with immortality, so much so that the world itself suffers from decay. How do you fix that problem? Does it need to be scientific? No. Can it be a magical, fantastical experience? Yes. It's taken off from that premise and the version on Tapas is definitely my best one yet!

Advice on how to start
As I am sure is the case with all of you, I've written several books. I love them all. I've enjoyed writing them all, at different stages of my life. I've been writing for a long time, basically. And my case is far from unique. But, of all the stories I've written, Tempestatem and its characters, that's the one book that's spoken to me the most. It tugs at my soul strings, and I want to make it stand on its toes, among giants - Tolkien, Martin, Robert Jordan, the kind. So, keep writing, keep exploring, and when you feel, from the bottom of your heart that you've struck gold, never stop. Leave it all out there in your book, in your comic, or whatever else you might use as a medium of communication. That's the only advice I can give you all!
@marielseibert There's this other thread going on right now that I think you might like. I haven't created it, but I am taking part in its discussions. Check it out if you think it's worth your time. Might be fun!
