I feel you. Sometimes I end up using too many certain words and it just ends up seeming so forced which is exactly what I was trying to avoid, but it's great to have someone that helps you.
Well, the webnovel I have uploaded on Tapas is a fantasy story with romance elements that is set in a magical universe I created on my own. I am literally shit at describing my novel to others, but it's basically about the main protagonist - a prince of the biggest empire - and his companion. The book tells the story of how they go on a journey to find a way to avoid another war breaking out. Lots of allies turning into foes, secrets, scandals at court and a far bigger mystery that's been hiding in the shadows for centuries. A mystery that could possibly give them the answers to the thousand years humanity has forgotten about. And in the end their supposedly greatest enemy isn't the biggest threat they have to deal with.
Tbh, it sounds like every second fantasy book but I try my best to put my own twists and changes into the story so that it differentiates itself from all the other ones.
Apart from that, I also like writing other stuff - a lot of them deal with more serious topics but it's still fun.
