It might be helpful to make a mood board of commission sheets you like! That way you can pinpoint what design elements you like and think would be fitting for your brand.
As far as sizing goes, I would say keep in mind aspect ratios when creating your sheets.
Twitter for example:

I don't offer commissions anymore, but I do really like commissioning others so I want to give my input as a consumer. I find the most helpful/user friendly sheets (totally my opinion) have these elements:
* cohesive branding (sticks to 1 font or 2 max, simple color palettes, minimal design elements)
* provides full images of what they're offering (I'm not a fan of the sheets where it's a full body split with lines that say "bust, waist, full body, etc."
* multiple images so there's not a ton of information crowding one picture. I've seen people separate it into Twitter threads/Instagram carousel posts
* disclaimer at the end of the thread with any of their policies/contact info/forms of payments/currencies
* I've seen people create Google slideshows with their commission information which I personally really like, but that also involves extra steps in clicking
* not a ton of variety in offerings (if you offer multiple styles/etc., it's just going to get more and more confusing for potential buyers and gives people room to request one style then immediately demand revisions that turns it into a more expensive style without paying the more expensive price)
I know it's really important for people to see the policies, but it might be important to operate under the assumption that they didn't read your policies before they reached out to you for a commission. It might be a good idea to send them your policies after they inquire to reconfirm that they understand. That way, you also get it in writing that they confirm so they can't hassle you later for whatever reason. I've had artists do that with me and it's never bothered me, in fact, it makes the situation seem that much more professional.
Anyways, I hope this helps anybody who might be reading it!
