I'm going to watch this after I leave my response and see if there are any similarities.
I try to recognize that my artistic journey is a work in progress, and that I will always be improving as long as I am creating. My art will always be changing as I grow and develop as a person, so I try to focus on the actual journey rather than the finished work on my screen.
I try to use positive language when engaging with my artwork. Instead of saying, "Wow this webcomic episode really sucks," I'll ask myself, "What did I learn from this experience that I can apply going forward?" It allows me to recognize the mistakes in my work and instead of hyper-focusing on those mistakes, I get the opportunity to appreciate what I learned.
As far as my webcomic specifically, I recognize that I can't put my full 100% effort into each and every panel, so not everything is going to look pretty. (otherwise I would never be able to finish an epsiode!) There have been a lot of moments in my webcomic that I have been unsatisfied with... but I have found that over time, what I can do with 70% effort has improved significantly! And that makes it a lot easier to deal with any negative thoughts that come to mind about my work!
Also, sometimes I just go back and have a good laugh!
