How do you organize your story?

I use Google Docs too, because it makes easier to edit the files in any device, whenever I get new ideas.

I have a file for the summary of my story, another for the script with dialogues and scenes, and a third file with the translation of the dialogues to english (since I write them originally in my native language), ready to be copied+pasted into the pages of my comic.

It's catered for world building and at the end of the day, it gives you a nice presentable website with customizable themes where your readers can browse and learn more about your world.

It's like filling up a form vs using a plain sheet of paper and figuring out where to place what information

No lol, Manuskript is kind of a different approach to Scrivener but free and open source. I was responding to @Rodimus13 who was talking about World Anvil which is an online service

This is probably one of the more neat things I love about Manuskript, it lets me easily have an overview timeline of the plot progression throughout the chapters

Google docs with scripts, character profiles, plot points, conversations between characters, etc. Also have either a physical notebook or note taking app for little ideas you have (writing down EVERYTHING because you will forget stuff) If your into world building like me you can make docs of creatures, plants, recipes and poems to help flesh out your world

I've organized my story by quickly writing the whole story years ago. I jot down ideas on my computer and in notebooks that I plan on using to make each chapter as I draw the story and get more ideas. It is easy for me to add new information to the story, after knowing the main parts of the entire story. I find good parts of the story to insert certain new ideas.
