I got Moderna and the second shot knocked me out for a solid 13hrs. My wife had some fatigue and a low grade fever. It passed after a day or two, you're all good.(at least within the range of side effects)
omg are people still trying to make fecth a thing
🤣
Yamaimo, a pure evil root vegetable I had in Japan. When prepped it takes on thick and viscous (basically mucus) texture and tastes as good as it sounds. I knew I wouldn't like it, but I wanted my host mom to know I was open to trying all this.
My wife loves them, but I agree with you. She says they're often eaten with a sauce or soup, but I'm too afraid to revisit the food
Romantisizing r*pe. If person A is drunk/literally drugged and person B knowingly sleeps with them, and they aren't called out for it already bad. But I see stories where a romance is supposed to sprout out of it, and I'm like????? Lying about being part of the LGBT+ community to get closer to th…
I don't smoke, and am not fond of people who smoke. The smell makes my head hurt. BUT, I'm all for fictional characters who smoke or have random objects in their mouth. Makes them minimum 100% cooler/more attractive.
First I check Clue, then I drink water, shower, and take a nap if I can. You'd be surprised how often your body just needs a shower. Venting to a friend or SO can be very nice too. You might also just need a cuddle.
I'm still in the honeymoon stage of drawing everywhere, but I have my eyes on a nice stand and I'll get around to it when I'm willing to cough up the money.
My first thought is that platforms like Twitter and Facebook are 17+ to use. It's on the parent to look after their child in public as well as online, and I will not change my rhetoric because they don't want to do their job correctly.
I've been binging Forged in Fire and it has me floored by how few stories have scratched the surface when it comes to swords. The stuff they pull out of history is absolutely amazing and a little ridiculous. It's taught me that there really is a sword for every task. Highly recommend it for educa…
I support five or so and prefer page format with a good tagging system to keep all in one place.
I like to trace the ref on a separate layer to 1, get an idea of how my hand should glow to do it freehand and 2 Find the lowest use of lines to achieve readability. I then draw it free hand for the actual piece.
A rocketbook could be fun. You can draw in it with frixon pens and erase it all with a towel and cloth. Not to mention you can upload and keep pics digitally.
Having people talk about how attractive they are tells the reader that they're perceived as attractive in the world you've built. Things like charismatic behavior are better off shown though. Examples could be them put at the center of attention and reveling in it or being among people and always h…
Anatomy of a Story is my favorite, hands down. It's a book that breaks down how to make a solid story in as few as 7 and as many as 22 steps. It helped me trim fat and make much more engaging stories.
People I sub to give things like WIPS, stickers, and mini comics. Another takes advantage of a character that journals regularly and posts 'pages' from their travels. They're all fun things, but it's best to approach these with moderation. Don't burn yourself out by taking too much on at once.
I like to look up vague story prompts and spiral from there. My current story that I'm super excited about spawned from the prompt "A thief finds a book by the river," found on Reedsy. With that, I made a list of ideas that now have spawned my current story "A depressed artist finds a journal that…
As a person who spends alot of money on patreon and supports a bunch of indie kickstarters, this wouldn't personally draw me in. I'm personally drawn into supporting artists based on the story, b&w or color doesn't add an incentive to me. It's getting those trickled down pages on free websites wit…
I have, but, honestly, I wish I hadn't. There's nothing worse than adapting a novel to a comic. I've done it for two stories and it resulted in a lot of rewriting. There's alot you can do in a novel. I wrot prose a paragraph long that could take 3 pages to draw. I'm moving away from novel to comic c…
Fury stuff. I also view furry stuff as just anthro stuff though, so I'm not sure I'm completely aware of what the term furry actually means. To me, it's just animals as people for the story. I'm currently obsessed with Blades of Furry on webtoons.
CSP really spoiling us these days 🥰
I have a similar issue in my comic. I decided to do different fonts for languages. The added. onus is that certain types can flavor the view of how the language is spoken. Ive also seen comics use country flags attached to speech bubbles to show the difference.
I've learned alot about paneling from reading indie titles and YouTube channels dedicated to comic book analysis like 'strip panel naked' I personally wanted a more lively and open vibe to my paneling so I sought out artists I really liked who did that and read and analyzed their stuff.
I love the amount of people who're passerby. It's basically saying "I'd be as far from all that crazy as possible"
You can do it in inkarnate. It's a software that allows you upload images and turn them into brushes and stamps.
I could see some writers use it for easy transitions to locations. And by 'some writers' I mean that I did this ALOT when I first started writing. Granted, I had a nice plot reason to avoid judgment
I love that people say cannon because I first thought Medic. Her style is on the softer side which to me lends to a helper job.
If anything, this is just the evolution of media geared towards male consumption. Only fans is the new sex, pornhub, etc. (Also what do you have against only fans? People use it for more than sex and even if they didn't who cares?) Men wanting to be dominated is nothing new either, it's just more ou…
I make conflicts based on the equation: Character wants ___, but ____, therefore/so ____. It's very important that your characters have a desire. For example in my story, Kirril wants to help a kind stranger by returning their lost journal, but he promised to look after someone in his village, the…
Sorry I just didn't want you to stress too hard over it if it was avoidable. Tags were something I struggled heavily with when I first got into writing. Your resource is great and I've used it in the past actually!
