How do you relax when making comics?

A friend of mind loves listening to Disney and Studio Ghibli music for art xD

I usually listen to music. Any OST from my favorite games, Studio Ghibli, DIsney, anything like that which will help generate ideas is a go.

Love those music genres for focus! I usually hang out in the chillhop, vaporwave or lolihop livestreams and just draw sometimes.

I'm already on that 88rising, haha! & I have "there there radio" Favorited, it mostly comprises of Jinsang's music haha. (Who I love). I also discovered yeaji from 88rising...i think she got some hate, but I love her musical style

Most of them not all of them. I've seen my neighbor totoro, spirited away, grave of the fireflies and a few others. Studio Ghibli knows how to bring the feels, haha.

I cry every time that I watch Howl's Moving Castle. It's one of my favorite and actually the one that I did a presentation on for my class. I've never seen Grave of the Fireflies though or Totoro. Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle are usually my go-to.

I listen to music from my HD or from Pandora. I'm good once I get in a rhythm and before I've noticed, I've knocked out at least 3 or 4 panels.

Or just removing myself from the source of GD negativity. I already have PTSD do to some issues. I don't need some Pacific coast guy slamming people about blathering on about their life story.

I really enjoy listening to music while I write too. Usually I listen to movie soundtracks without any lyrics. If there are lyrics then I usually end up focusing on the words to much to write. In the past I've really enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack for action and How to Train Your Dragon for a lot of everything else. However, I've been branching out more recently. I really like the Piano Guys and their music as well as some independent music makers on youtube. The Fiechter brothers have some cool fantasy music that I like to listen to while working on Enchantress.

I listen to music, too! I mostly listen to choral music— right now, Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus is my favorite, haha:

I can sing the alto parts to almost every song on my playlist so 99% of the time I'm drawing, I'm also singing very loudly.

I also like musicals, because those are good to sing along with too.

I draw pretty much all the time but this is how I prefer to combine various stages to keep it entertaining:

Writing: Calmer music, mostly gothic stuff
Sketching: Faster music, maybe even nightcore if I feel like it
Inking and toning: Anime, hanging out with family, story videos, comedy shows.
Lettering: Everyone and everything better fuck off or I'm gonna accidentally insert activity notes into the speech bubbles and it will all be very very embarrassing.

I usually drawing/coloring while listening music on Youtube. Sometimes I just stop to watch a video/music video/AMV but if I do it more like concentrating on making my mangas it means that day is not for creative works. ^^;

And I have my PS4 with FFXIV on, and que myself for extreme trials which can take up to an hour sometimes before a party is formed, I use these as break-times.
