How do you use motion lines/effects in your comics?

How do you convey motion in your story? This is a topic that I have been a little obsessed about ever since I got into making these little consecutive illustrations. Now that I have a chance to ask this many creators the question, why not go for it?

So, how do you do it?
Do you use blur effects/filters, manga style background motion lines, smears, basic lines, exaggerated body parts/gestures, swerving lights or something different altogether? Or do you prefer not to use motion lines like some creators?

Either way, I will be looking forward to reading every last answer I receive.

I use motion and focus lines, smears, and I've dabbled in motion blurs though I haven't shown those results publicly.

This one was just for comedic purposes, but it's the only example of motion I could find.

Through gestures and the changing of the background.

I use lines, motion blur, and the "inbetween" limb/body part for showing fast movement.

I tried a lot of different methods, but failed miserably most of the time. My motion lines looks static:

Blur in traditional b&w isn’t efficient, so if I want to show movement and accelerate the action, I use a mix of smaller panels and close-ups, and that’s my go to solution now...
