How do you use tags on tapas?

I've been wondering about tags on tapas for a while now. Do you guys use them? How? Can people find your comic using tags?

tags for your series - I think to some degree affect search results on site and I think there was some third party site that allowed you to browse comics by them
tags on episodes - those don't do anything and are most likely a leftover from a system that never got fully implemented (I guess you could use them to write a message to your readers outside of the episode's description...)

I use them, but i'm not sure how well they work. usually I use them in the context of what happens in the chapter, and some details of the story as well, ex, I'll hashtag: first kiss, childhood crush, first love, friends to lovers, best friends, male best friend, romance, disabled romance
