I share my comics on my personal website, Reddit, Imgur, Tapas, Webtoon, and Twitter. Overall, I'd say Reddit has been my most successful platform (I've even reached the front page a couple of times) but since I do gag comics that are typically standalone, I'm sure I probably have a more unique experience than most people here with story-based series. Webtoon seems to have more traction than Tapas (248 subs vs 67) and I'm not really sure how to compare those platforms to Twitter (138 followers). A lot of my Twitter followers came from the Fire Emblem community due to a couple of my strips about that series(also a good response from their subreddits) and one outlier comic that got hundreds of retweets/likes compared to the rest that typically stay in the single digits. I don't even know how to gauge Imgur's success since I'm not too familiar with how the community works, but I had at least one comic reach the front page.
I'm actually really curious as to what the explanations could be regarding discrepancies in Webtoon and Tapas subscribers. I wonder what sort of content or creator interaction might cause one platform to generate more success than the other?
