I love your art style my friend! I'll definitely look into your stories when I have the time. All your characters are so unique!

Here you go. Still on the first page, but hopefully I'll get another done by tomorrow.

It's Splitting Image! Just starting out so I didn't link it since a lot of these things aren't apparent yet.

Oh yes. Both my characters (Ira and Tristan) have had trauma in their lives and Tristan especially will go through more trauma that will change him. Ira would be impacted as well but the biggest transformation is Tristan. Will he change for better, or for worse? Let's see...

Does academic trauma count? The backstory of one of my characters is that he was a perfectionist student but became super easygoing after he stressed a lot with his notes/thesis and realised that wasting energy on small stuff isn't worth it. Idk if I'll even show it on my comic but I like this one bc it feels personal to me lol

That can be a thing. One of my siblings ended up that way because she was always seen as the smart one and got tired of living up to those expectations.

One of my characters went through a trauma that he was able to use his emotions from to fire his passion to become stronger. Only to be brought down by another trauma that hurt him more deeply that it had the opposite effect. It took many years to comes to terms with and he still never healed.

That story can be read here:

My protagonist has gotten very cautious and paranoid, to the point where she barely got any sleep for 2 weeks

Haha fair enough! It's hard to get into since my story has a slow burn and it's hard to go into details without spoiling it.

I'll just say that one of them loses a lot of their inhibitions and a bit of their morality while the other gains another person they desperately want to possess/protect. It turns a sweet relationship into a passionate but very toxic one.
