How invested is your S.O. in your creation? Scale of 1-10

I'm single and have no one I know in real life who is beta-reading or giving input to stuffs I make or write, I'm too embarrassed to show them, afraid of judgement,and don't wanna give them the hassle. That's why, I never know am I doing good or bad. My work is completely unknown to my social circle in real life.

Anyway I feel good for you who find someone who you can share your creation comfortably with

Weirdly enough, SO INVESTED. Like a solid 8/10
I was working on the update for my webcomic in the same room as him and he got frustrated because I wouldn't spoil the update or explain it to him before it was finished.
He's always among the first to read and like the updates even though I rarely talk about my webcomic with him.
He's also picked up watercolor painting outdoors because I do it a lot and he wanted to try it since it's more fun than just watching.
It's so nice, my ex used to be absolutely disinterested in what I do and so I never really thought that the art side of my life was something I would ever get to share with my SO.

Overall, 5/10. Supportive of my work but doesn't ask too much detail since my style is not his cup of tea.

Though, during the webtoon contest, it was a 1 because it seemed like he didn't understand the stress and time I needed to work on it consistently even though he works with an artist (he does writing on the side).

0 Considering my last SO ditched out on me three years ago. And about all she contributed was to tell me to drop Staffinburg and work on the sci-fi epic me and my co-author had at the time. Also Considering I never could get the full motivation to draw said sci-fi comic no matter how fun it was to write it I went back to the comic I was told to drop lol another 0 on her part.

5.5. My spouse does not help or hinder. The extra 0.5 is for (too rare) help with editing. Time is the problem through, so I don't really complain.

I would say a 10. The majority of the art is done by her. She’s also not the biggest fan of Cyberpunk but still wants to participate in the story and the characters. Real grateful for her.

Well, since he is the writer and I am the artist for our comics, our creations won't really exist without another person. He also helps me with layout (I barely can make it without him), gives me ideas for additional artworks, sometimes even colour the pages a bit, etc.

1. My S.O. knows I make comics and that it’s my “me time”. Also, I have never liked sharing my work with people I know because I’m way too bashful. If any of my works seemed to be going well I’d consider showing my best friend though.

I'd say about an 8, he doesn't write/draw/edit, but he gives me suggestions when I ask and he helps with beta reading even with my comics that aren't a genre he's into. He's also really supportive and motivates me to write and draw more, go to conventions, print zines, participate in contests etc
