How long have you been on Tapas?

I submitted my first comic in January of 2018... and then waited an entire year to get around to re-drawing the first one and replacing it in January of 2019, so I'm gonna say in actuality it's only been about 10 months.

March 2015, although I was ghost reading on the site and the forum for a few months prior before I dared to make myself known. Good times.

I create my tapas account on June 2016, but I'm not overly devoted to them until a year later I think. But I've been reading some comic here without making an account for some time before (if I remember it right). Funnily enough I made my forum account around the time I first posted my comic on August 2017 but not really into it until the next year.

The number kinda shocked me honestly when I looked into it lol.

Since April 2018, I've been here quite a while-- I'm not too fond of the featured comics, just BL after BL and the occasional romance with a hipster mary sue protagonist. The comics I like have pretty much been dropped or infrequently update like mine so I still feel like a newbie since I disappear on and off so often.

According to my profile... almost 2 years, joined January 2017. Sounds about right, I remember I graduated college 2016, later that summer/fall I saw a random youtube video about making comics and it had mentioned Tapastic as a hosting site, which was what inspired me to get back into drawing comics again (I barely drew anything throughout uni).

I guess it was a few months after that after yet another failed attempt at rebooting my old series that I decided to actually make an account here and start learning lol.

But then I hit another drought (the job hunt was draining) and didn't start drawing much again until the following summer when I made a few pieces of fan art for a MMO I briefly played. Afterwards Inktober 2017 was my first attempt to get into a consistent drawing routine.

Then I did another reboot of my old series that fall/winter, gave up on it last February, and began planning TreasureHUNT!! to get out of that reboot rut >: D

Definitely a useful 2 years here!

If you've been here since the site was called "Comic Panda", that's impressive. I've been here since sometime after that site re branded itself "Tapastic". Back then, there used to be weekly schedule.
