For webnovels, it is indeed better to have shorter chapters. 1-1.5k seems good, 2k-3k is alright but 4k+ would be pushing it. Unless it's cough scenes that are making people very 'invested'.
I could stand bad MTL. So to some degree, I probably could stand bad grammar. My own grammar is bad. But if it is to the atrocious level then... I might need more effort to read through it. PS: In some cases, I prefer bad MTL over bad translation. I am very picky with translation for some reason.
