How long will your comic go story wise?

The number of chapters-wise, as much as possible!
But my webcomic is about short love stories of different couples. So for each love story, I'd like to make it relatively short. Hopefully, not more than 50 chapters, haha.

I'm currently on couple #2, which consists of 12 chapters.
I finished the story draft for couple #3 as well, and it took 22 chapters

Well my illistravive novel right now has an out line of 4 sessions. Albiet I may make 5 to show case the final outcome. Session one is around 25 episodes(not counting bonuses) so I'll say around 125 episodes.

With my writing and drawing pace I'll around 3 years or so. Cus yeah slow burn is slow

And stuff takes time to develop

80 chapters is the goal, and that's how is scripted, but maybe I can join a couple of chapters in the go, as I have made a bit of changes for better pace and drama~
If I do that, I may add a final 80 chapter, but I don't want to go over that number.

That’s good. I feel like it’s important to know when to give your story a proper conclusion. That’s not to say you can’t do spin offs to expand the lore, but you at least won’t milk the cow when it’s already dried by trying to add more stories to your main series.

About 3 thicckygirl volumes plus the prologue/epilogue. Each Volume will be around 7-8 chapters, but like my chapters are quite hefty being anywhere from 30 - 50 pages long and that's not including transitional art pages and relevant to MM! side stories (I like doing side stories in the same world my comic takes place, but don't have anything to do with the main cast usually) :V.

I do have to say though, It's definitely being condensed as my current chapter is technically 2 & 3, since I really didn't need them to be their own thing at 30 pages each, so I kept them going as ch 2 and shaved off 10 pages of side stuff. I have the whole script for my comic, but I edit when I get ready to start drawing a new chapter.
