How many Ad Impressions until revenue?

etc.

So far it's 100 ad impressions = 1 cent as far as I've counted =)

Oh my, sorry about that laughing fit, but yeah, I wouldn't expect to see anything but pennies from ad rev on Tapastic. The ad payout is REALLY low. You can find better ad rev on other sites like Project Wonderful, however, you'll need your own personal site for that.

Also, the new tipping feature is currently 4x's more rev. for many creators. Definitely recommend looking into that feature more and focus on building that over the ad rev.

From my experience, I've been on the Tapastic ad rev since it launch back in April 7th 2016 and my total from ad rev is $68. Meanwhile, I joined the Tipping Feature Dec 22nd and I'm reaching $49 with that. 1 yr with ad rev compared to 2 months with tipping.

@CyndiFoster Depends on if there are people willing to tip you I'm relatively new on tapas, I started uploading in January, and I've had two tippers so far =)

but yeah, I agree with you on the point that tipping is more effective:

This month's ad revenue: 4 cent
This month's tipping: 8 cent

Yeah, exactly! And creators can have more of an impact to help increase their odds of getting tips by advertising it on social media, creating special series episodes on how to tip, offering fun thank you rewards for tips or raffles, or anything else that comes to mind really.

With ad rev you can only ask readers to please turn off ad blocker which can be difficult.

and every time i look at the $55.34 i want to cry because that's not even what i'm really getting, that's before fees. im lucky if i see half that.

Something like 10 K views is 1 dollar and 50 cents...
So I don't think anyone on Tapastic can count on Ad-Revenue to pay the rent haha.

I didn't have paypal back in the days And the moment I turned on Ad revenue, it started to drastically drop in value. And I had a lot more views before I turned it on too... I could've been rich man!
