How many comics do you hope to create?

I hope to make three. 1 is already in the rework as the other two are in the sketch and writing phases. I want to get better at drawing before I take on the other two. One is sci fi and set in the future and the other is set in the past with magic , demons and weapons.

Story wise I have about ten but I may just do them as short comics to show which styles I may use.

New comic ideas pop into my head every so often, but there is really only one other story aside from Underworld Engine that I am attached to. It's a dark story about robots somewhat inspired by Blame!, Metropolis, and Akira. Mostly Blame! My schedule won't allow me to publish two webcomics at once though, so unless I can make my projects into a full time job, this story will stay private.

Most of my creative energy goes toward game dev. If you were to ask me how many games I hope to create, I'd present a much more ambitious list haha.

I have two major ideas in mind. The one I'm making now and a fantasy project I've worked on for ages. I also do gag-a-days on the side when I get a good idea.

I have two major comics planned, the first being my current project The Machinist and the second one being a completely different story with small tie-ins to The Machinist. Both comic will be set in the same world, but focus on different characters and different themes as well as very different parts of the world.

The Machinist alone will at least take two more years to finish, while Eternal Flame will probably take more than five years as it is much longer than the Machinist. So it is hard for me to imagine anything after that right now, though I still have a character duo, that maaaaybe should get a short comic in between all of this. One chapter at most.

Aside from that I do little Slice of Life one shots on the occasion, but there is not much energy going into it. It is a fun distraction from the sometimes exhausting work on the big projects.

Well about 15+ ideas. I'm just working on anthologies and a webcomic that i run on side, but with time i hope i can move on to my main ideas and for now it's just a hobby. To be honest all the scripts i write end up being created (drawn).

Just had my first publish in england, still got 2 more publishes lined up already in the next 4 months. (all pages are already drawn). While the publishes are nice and awesome all of current comics i did were 5 pages and less. Moving on a 10+ script soon, it has been gathering dust for almost 6 months now.

So the answer would be kinda:

Short stories: Depends on anthology type with an open call
One shot with 30 pages or lower: About 4 or so currently
Smaller series: 4 ideas
Ep: One idea (magnum opus)

So far: Finished 4 short stories and running a webcomic to fill the time in between.

Beyond my current shortish comic which I'm using to get into the rhythm of updating a comic regularly I have a couple of definite planned ideas that I really want to make.

One started as an extended gag comic idea around 6 years ago but has grown into a full story with two sequels! It's about the hunt for a serial killer and has a fair amount of humour in it.

The other is a basic idea I had possibly 15 years ago but have added a lot to it in the last year or so. I'm very excited about this one so may well do this one next. Hmmm... it's hard to say much about it without spoilers but it involves a slight change to the physical laws of this world and how people respond. And maybe a vampire.

I do have another 3 or 4 ideas I'd like to do at some point but these two will keep me going for a long time so I should concentrate on these I think!

Oooookay, so I've got a ton of stories in the works, several with different mediums, including animation as a cartoon as I hope to be a cartoonist one day. BUT FOR NOW, I have 4 total. A gag-a-day that I'm working on right now, a action-comedy that is the hypothetical next in the pipeline after I finish my current, a graphic novel drama that I'm currently doing concept art/character designs for on my Tumblr, and a drama-romance that is technically the farthest away. I also want to do smaller comics for my brother's works as well.
So that's about 4 total, but I don't plan on working on more than 2 at any one time, especially since I'm still in college and have a stable, non-drawing job also. I have ideas past those, and it's not impossible to say that I'll have more in the future past these! But these four are the projected comics that I have.
I have like, 5 more that AREN'T comics, but I digress! XD

I have lots of ideas for comics, but I cant work on them all- so some of them may have to become finite series with unorthodox schedules. I'm currently working on a "just print" series and this webcomic; also thinking about working on a black & white series/project with any spare time I may have down the road...we'll see what happens.

The comic I'm writing has an extended universe, so I've naturally got several stories on the back-burner. I've already started laying out the foundations of the next script, several chapters long.

After Flirting With Death the list of comics to come will be something like:

Molara's Arms (demon hitman stuff)
Tyrannosaurus (pirates fight nazis)
Perfect Cyborg Programme (sci-fi and tears)
Bran and Stan VS. The Nazis (superhumans fight nazis)
Enter Sandman (demon hitmen again)

These are just the ones with established plots and characters. Plus I've got several others that haven't been given working titles yet... I'm a bit of a workaholic.
I haven't decided if I'm gonna take on two comics at once or just one at a time. I'll have to figure out what works best.
