Heya, quick question.
I've been working on a story for a while now, and I've started writing out a potential comic script for it. I was then going to make a collaboration post to hopefully find someone willing to work with me on the project, but I just wanted to get a piece of advice. I don't want to post the whole of the script (for obvious reasons) so I figured I'd share the prologue and opening chapter in order for anyone interested to get a taste for the story. Problem is, that's quite a few pages, as chapters usually average about twenty-something pages per chapter. Would that be more than an artist would be willing to read for a project they aren't even sure they want to be a part of? Should I post less pages?

@CoopDogE You could first post that you wish to find an artist to collaborate with and say the genre of the story that you are writing. Also do tell that anyone interested can DM you their email and you will send them a sample of your story

Just a friendly suggestion

A prologue and a quick synopsis of your story I think is adequate enough. If you're going to earn ad revenue and tips and such, you should include that you'd be willing to split any profits you make. I think that'll get more people interested

Do what everyone else said above, but also show the quality and reliability you have to offer as well.

General scheduling is very important too.

I haven't read that many comic scripts but it it were me, I'd want something that clearly highlights the strengths of the writing.

Doesn't matter how long or how disconnected the sample I'm shown is, as long as there are good bits that highlight the writer's aptitude and the script's unique selling points (a deconstructionist approach, a unique protagonist, a memorable quip, an emotional climax, a good twist, etc.)
