@punkarsenic So I went through my bookmarks folder and saw that only 132 out of 555 are comics that I regularly follow. The rest are new and awaiting review.
I read from the top of the list. New links get added on the bottom so keeping organized is no problem. And it's not an overwhelming number. Like @joannekwan said, few webcomics update on a weekly basis. With most of them, you pretty much have to wait three months if you want to avoid disappointment. Lackadaisy used to be one of the most infrequent updaters (it's better now) but Outsider really wins the race.
I've built up this reading list over the course of more than a decade. It started with Striptease, which I found in the university library. It is a totally safe-for-work comic and I have no idea how I stumbled upon it. (Shut up. I'd never do that. I loved that library.) There was also Sinfest, which was good for a long time and still looks good but then the author became some kind of self-hating fanatic.
As a webcomic reader, I'm far past the point where I needed to go out and search for new comics. There's so many now, and they're easy to find in an organic way. There's banner ads, guest strips, and most of all, this forum.
