How much of your comic's following are reader only and creators?

If you can take a guess what do you think is the split out of 100% between actual reader only users in comparison to other creators for your comic and why do you think that is?

I think for me the split is around 70 creator / 30 reader only.

My following is definitely majority just readers but when i had a smaller following it was mainly other creators.

I think most of mine are readers and there's just a small handful of other creators like 20/80 maybe

It’s more so a logical guess based on the subscribers information.

You can see who is subscribed to your series and usually readers only don’t have their own created series while creators do. So it’s easy to know who is who

I have mostly creators following my comic so I'd say 90% creator and 10% reader.

Most of the people following the comic, like around 80% i think, are reader only. But the people liking and leaving comments are mainly creators.

I am at about 70% creators and 30% readers. I love how these readers are also supportive of my novel.

I think 85-90% is reader only for mine.

If most of your subs come from promoting in the forum and not discovery on the app, you end up with a higher percentage of creator-subs. The forum is, like, 99% other creators. (But all interaction on ones story is good interaction algorithm wise, of course)

Still trying to increase more of my reader only part of my following as well but I think that’s mostly comic from views that just aren’t liking or subbing which readers tend to do

I looked at the first two pages of my subscribers list to see the average numbers on this, I'm around 80% readers/20% creators. Of course, if I did that check specifically for my more regular commenters, that would definitely skew more heavily towards fellow creators.

Mine is 85% readers and 15% creators. And I think it's more creators that engage with my comic in terms of comments, there are readers who comment but creators are a higher percentage, and I think it's split down the middle or a little more creators that engage by also/only liking. I appreciate all my following though! But this was interesting to see. I think it all depends but it was interesting to see how many people kind of have the same experience like @pilot-obvious, @kaetana, @IndigoShirtProd have a similar experience as me.

No idea the percentage, but I would say most of my commenters are people from this forum, but as far as subs go, people off of the forum. No idea who's reading and who's not, we don't really have access to that info.

Across all series, the number goes about 70 % readers and 30% other creators. Naturally, creators tend to interact a lot more than readers, but it seems to be a rather common theme here...

The 75 subscribers on my main series: only 14 of them don't have their 'series'. So mine has about 80% creators.

By numbers alone it's probably still mostly readers, but creators are the ones that interact the most. No surprise though, if you want to get comments you also need to give them and be engaged with the community!

After taking a look, it seems that non-creators make up about 40% of my following, which makes sense considering that when I first started out I did all of my promotion here on the forums. Non-creator followers have been growing more significantly than creator followers though, and I think after about a year or so they'll make up the majority of my following.

As others have noted, creator engagement is much higher than reader engagement with my series. I would say 90% of my likes and comments come from readers (which I really appreciate.)
