How should I progress my story?

I'm a little lost. Some tips, please?

Well, let's start.
For the last few months, I've been working on a story called Sole Error. As humbly as I can, all I can call the story is complicated. So complicated, in fact, that I can't make any headway.
I've got the intro down, though I can't really draw the first action right, but that's not the big problem. It's what I'll have to do after the intro, and about how I present it.
Two kinds of ideas; Reincarnation, or Time Looping.
With Reincarnation, I'd have to draw over 100 different characters. Not fun.
Time looping; Attempting to fix the problem over multiple cycles, with varying degrees of success.
I've had an alternate idea, where the characters in question would be incompletely-revived. Body? Check. Memories? Ouch...!
This might allow for some very emotional moments. What a happy accident?

In total, there are 9 (10?) characters. Whether I'll add more or not is up to how the story develops.
The premise of the story is that 7 people will have to find 'The Answer', all while dealing with amnesia, a mystery murderer, and backstabbing.

While it's a great idea, I'm not such a great writer, and I was hoping for some hints or tips as how to plan the story.
And, more importantly, how to avoid copying similar stories! (Danganronpa, Zero Escape, etc.)

this sounds as complicated as when i was planning out my first book.
I recommend you find a nice big wall and lots of post it notes to plan it all out .
then write it all down in a script before you even start the artwork.

wow yeah this is suuuuper confusing haha. its hard to answer the question tho cuz i dont really know the story. but i DO know that time loop/travel storys make a lotta trouble for themselves if it isnt done right

but i agree with aronthemason. plan that bizz out. outlines and scripts and all that bizz. i mean i guess you can put notes on a wall too as long as ya dont mind lookin like a crazy person in a conspiracy movie

Time loop TIME LOOP TTIIMMEE LLOOOPPP!!! you should do a time loop i like time loops, when you do the time loop let me know and i will read also i like the body swapping hijinks as well.

Hrm, I've tried doing that (Sort of) similarly but some on a page and some on my computer.
It sort of works, but I'm so indecisive, haha.

I suggest the time loop idea, I think it will be more interesting, plus it will be easier for readers to follow and you won't need to design so many different characters.
