@Caro Damn your last point is totally true!
That's the dilemma I'm in currently. I love the format but I don't appreciate the fact that if you want to be read and be noticed by publishers and readers, you kinda need to aim for that kid/teenage demographic which isn't what I'm interested in.
And if you want to be noticed by traditional publishers and that demographic, you gotta bring something more "elevated" (sorry lack of a better word, I'm not native).
At that point I'm just thinking if I'm gonna fall into that murky zone where I don't really fit in, might as well do my own thing, on my own platform/website, etc
