Befriend him, that way, he can't beat you.

Hah, just kidding. I was about to say Kamijou Touma of Toaru, he cancels all kinds of superpowers but Saitama's powers isn't from a mystery mumbo jumbo, it's all from his physical workout routine so still no.

I'd agree with the Deathnote. He still has a heart and a human name.
If winning is killing I'd go with Shiki Tohno, he can cut through anything that exists because he can perceive the line of origin, the battle will be on stealth but Shiki is basically an assassin and there's nothing he can't kill. (not unless they don't have an origin which is nigh impossible) or if not convinced we can recruit someone with the same skill but superior, Ryougi Shiki.

Ooooh, I forgot about Shiki. Yeah, she can probably do it. Tohno - not so sure, he can kill immortal things, but Saitama transcends that, I think. Shiki on the other hand can "kill" time and other natural and unnatural phenomena. Buuuuut, even though Shiki can actually kill Saitama, she definitely would not be able to defeat him in combat. He's just too fast.
I think the best contender is still Dr. Manhattan.

No, but he already shows signs of needing to breathe after a while. Him being on the moon showed he survived the impact of the attack that sent him there. Could he survive if he was just floating out there though??

The only reason he survives being sent to the moon and is able to go back to Earth is because he calculated a jump based on how the gravity affected a rock.. Might be looking too deeply into that small scene, but come on, he could've destroyed more of the moon or hit the earth too hard when he landed if he didn't do it properly.

I believe he's done punches that could send himself flying back..? I'm assuming he did at one point, if not, I'm wrong oops. But this only works because there's something to punch in a way. The air. (This might be a stretch, fair enough. I'm not entirely sure if physics would work like this for such a superhuman feat lol)

Space doesn't have air. So if he tries to send himself back through a punch, it wouldn't work the same way it would on Earth. Thus, he'd be stuck out there.. assuming he can be teleported or be affected by telekinesis. In which case, Saiki can also stop time or petrify him, then send him out there that way. That boy is far too OP in terms of ESP characters tbh

Have a hair battle in which the one who got the best kept hair...(or even just hair for that matter) wins. Saitama could never win a unwinnable battle.

How about......a ghost?, the kind that posess bodies.......can Saitama punch ghosts?

Oh, yeah, he definitely won't be able to fly back to earth if he is just teleported into space, unless he bumps into something massive enough to use as a launch pad. Well, at least from what we were shown. But I doubt that he will die of asphyxiation. =)

well, everyone thought the same, but then he was able to kill an immortal vampire princess main body without even knowing of her location or existence.

Maybe by possessing him? I mean, try to punch a parasite inside you out.
But then again, he might be immune to party tricks like that

That just sounds like bad writing then, not a super power.

Without knowing if something exists, you can't actually wish it didn't. That's bad logic.

Uh...mmmm...
Convince the author to stop writing the series.

Introduce One Punch Man to One Kick Man.

Or maybe Mob at 100%? I dunno.

Saitama is just impervious to anything. I remember an old OLD post on the manga pages and the first half of the anime - it's like it never even touched him, he only slightly feels recoil when he's hit or gets launched by the shockwaves. If it includes psychic manipulation, probably possession or anything intangible just stops before it gets in contact.

The joke is that he can't lose. The "teleport into space away from any object" strategy might be the only thing that can even work but even then the story might find him a new way to not asphyxiate, though of course it's going to be a while until he can come back(an actual struggle in the plot more than once because it's not like he can fly). It's kinda like those videos on him versus anything - the answer is ALWAYS him, because it's the joke, you can't really find a way around it unless there's no actual fight and the character never even meets eyes with him like the space strategy.

That's exactly it xD it just boils down to a joke in the end.
Kind of cracks me up how seriously people take the satire of OPM in regards to power levels.

Doesn't King beat him all the time, with like only one finger...

King always gets the credit for Saitama's victories :joy:

ngl I read half of this thread thinking saitama was a battle cats boss
