How to Draw Archery

So this is a tutorial I made up about a year ago, and I figured this would be a good place to share it, since there's such a diversity of stories here. Obviously I'm partial to archers in comics, but I bet there's plenty of other comics here with arrow-slingers too. Anyway, I'm not perfect at archery or drawing, but these are some solid basics, particularly for those who don't actually shoot themselves. Doesn't cover everything, but I'll do my best to answer any questions. Cheers,

Great idea! I took a look and you've some sound advice wrapped up in there. Really does take doing archery to realize where you've been going wrong. It's way harder to draw archery than it seems. I was toying with he idea of making one of these myself so I'll pop it here if I do. Great job!

This is really awesome! There's no archery in my comic, but even still, I love seeing these breakdowns of common comic book elements and actions. Even better that you have personal experience with archery. Thank you for creating this!

I'd love if there was a comprehensive tutorial like this for firearms, because I feel that's another one that gets drawn incorrectly a lot and would result in injury if people held guns like they're drawn D: If anyone is aware of something like that, please let me know!

For any unusual poses, I go to Pinterest to look up sketches. There are usually everything there to study body positions, et.al.
