I think that by now you might have already noticed my super high activity in the forum in creating topics (lol) i'm a girl with many questions and very few experience on different stuff, we could say...
If my topic's activity is too annoying just tell me and i'll tone it down somehow (struggling with my obsessive/anxious self)
This time i'd like to ask tips about how to host giveaways of your stuff to people who tried or even people who think they could have some knowledge about it.
More specifically i'm curious about how to host one without troubling to much your audience/followers with reposts or following requirements.
I remember trying to do a draw-this-in-your-style contest on instagram a few months ago and literally had 0 entries even though i had about 700 followers. Now i have roughly 1k but they are not very responsive (even to the most simple questions) and this aspect kind of worries me. So i thought about slowly spreading the word on hosting a small and simple giveaway of the gadgets i'll be making for my Redbubble, because people don't have to put too much effort in joining (depends on rules though) and made a survey (still ongoing) to see how manye followers would be interested in getting some of my art for free, in the end i do it to advertise a tiny new-born brand, i guess.
The problem is that i don't know on which social could perform better, counting that i have a Facebook, instagram and twitter (plus my comic on webtoon) i do have a wide choice but followers are everywhere hardly responsive, despite the "good" numbers.
So, if you already experienced giveaways or know something about it, do you have any tips for promotion or gaining people's interest? Where do i catch my target? Where to likely host it?
And most importantly, which rules should i add in order for people to join without much effort or annoying requests?
