How to promote your webcomic/web novel

My main question is: what do you think is the best way to promote a comic or web novel on Tapas? I usually post in promotion forums and include some promotional art I've drawn myself (examples attached).

However, I’d love to hear about your methods or the most effective ways you’ve found to advertise your stories.

I've been posting on:
-Patreon
-Youtube (posts, i plan to make shorts with them too)
-Insta
-Twitter
-Here
-Webtoon
-Sometimes I work on them on stream and have a command in the chat to post links.

Yt seems to get attention but not sure who clicks though if any, I do already have some small group of people who consistently interact on there and other sites.

I have lined paper with blocks I fill in as I get them scheduled so they're consistent and
Throwing spaghetti at the wall i suppose, I don't imagine I'll get much attention on my first comic but throwing a line in everywhere can't hurt to test things out.

Deviantart, reddit, promo threads...

Sometimes I use Instagram, threads, bitchute, Facebook

Then there's word of mouth. 🤣

Bluesky is like BOOM with interactions and traffic flow for me.
Google, Meta, Twitter, Tumblr never worked for me. Poor interactions.
Soon once I finish setting up my new laptop. Picarto and Bluesky's Streamplace.
