How to reduce the MB of a drawing/image?

Hello and good day​
The file size of the drawing is 5.1MB.
How can I reduce the file size to 2MB without losing the quality?

also i know some folks use croppy to slice images but idk if there's other methods or tools

Use lossless compression. There are format that support it like PNG, WebP, AVIF, just use any editor, and at save/export it should allow you to set compression and resolution. You can also cut images on more smaller images.

I wouldn't try to reduce it if it's your original scan. You're going to want a high quality version around for when you need to produce lower quality versions. 5MB isn't that anyway, my scans are all typically 30-50MB

Lossless compression actually increases the size For uploading on tapas, only png is suitable out of these "lossless" formats anyway.

You have two options: 1) convert the image to JPG; it is lossy compression, so it will decrease the file size, how much it depends on the quality setting - you probably want to save it at 100% and no chroma subsampling (this option might be called differently in various programs), for the best quality possible.
2) Save the image as PNG but slice it into multiple parts before uploading to tapas, so it doesn't go over the limit.
