How to resize drawings and not make them pixelated

Hello! So i draw with my canvas at 1800X4000 with a DPI of 600 in Medibang, and then I shrink the canvas size to half with the Change image size option in the edit menu then save it as a PNG, but it always has a pixelated look to it, and it just looks kind of gross. Is there any better way to go about shrinking the image so it looks smooth?

i use medibang myself and i usually dont have this issue so i'm wondering if it's to do with your method of resizing the images since having a dpi of 600 wouldn't result in a pixelated image afaik

what i'm wondering is if your using the % option to change the size (so 50% for half the size or 200% for 2x as large) or by manually entering the size (width and height in pixels or whichever preferred method of measurement)

usually i'll just take the full res image, while it's still an mdp file, and change the width to fit tapas' 940px limit with constrain proportions on and usually the image retains it's quality. then again i don't usually go over 350dpi so i'm not sure if it's case specific or as i mentioned due to the method of size change
