How to show music in comics?

First of all sorry about my english, this is not my main language so I'll be doing a lot of grammatical errors and my topic could have no-sense at all.
So, my question is: How can someone show music in their comics?
In my comic my MC in followed by a bunch of musicians who plays everytime my MC fights. The problem is I have miscalculated my ability to show the music they play and I've decided to "hide" them while I came up with something. Today I've decided to ask fellow artist if they have some advice or practical way of help me with my task. I mean, I know on Tapas you can attach music on your comics but I have a pretty straight idea which music they play on every fight and I have no idea how to program the music to start when I wanted to (I even have no idea if it's possible) nor I have the money to commison anything
btw I upload on Webtoon too and I want to be as traditional as I can in comics matter. I've tried to draw chord diagrams but this doesn't turn out good and understable as good as I thought.

XDD no joke i had that idea for fighting with music playing as well but dropped it because of this exact dilemma

well usually it is best done by lyrics BUT, if you plan to make money off of your comic DO NOT USE LYRICS FROM EXISTING SONGS, i was bummed to hear this since one of my characters is a big music fan, especially with the Beatles and those songs will cost you more than anything you can afford...

you could have a card before the scene that says "please turn on provided music" or something, thats the best i can think of

The fact is the music is only instrumental therefore I'll have no problem with copyright and such lol that problem is pretty much solved from the start lol

The card with "please turn on blah blah blah" is a great idea, I'm gonna put it in the "possible ideas" folder of my brain lol

Yep, I've thought about that and I've also tried to make different ways of representing music, but I can't quite catch if it can work or not with the pace of my comic

In my comic I have a short part where the main character sings.. (badly) and I use the method similar to what @daeofthepast posted.

nice question. I like to show music by tagging musical notes to the ends of dialogue, or if it's like a bird singing, just show the gist of the notes. You can write entire scores of music as dialogue even which kind of is what Marvel does for concerts and instrumental solos. There's a lot of ways you can achieve this. And with EDM you could do midi notation I imagine.
