How to spot bad writing

What is a big no no when writing novels that makes it bad writing because I want to know how to prevent them in establishing my story and or characters

Boring the readers if you ask me, but I´m easily bored by novels.
Too much introduction and explanation, too much backstory that
I don´t want to read, world explanation and system I don´t care
about, just get to the interesting part and slap it aggressively into
my face that it almost knocks me out. Be impactful and emotional
and don´t dwell on all that boring nerd stuff.

Just my pov as a reader, I´m a pretty bad writer myself.

I´m just not a storywriter at all. I write good (primitive) rock´n´roll songs and lyrics.
I also write pretty awesome situations / scenes for illustrations.
I never managed to write a complete real story from start to finish and that´s
why I´m saying that I´m not good at it. I´m pretty good at knowing what I can
and can´t do. I can draw everything that I want as an illustrator for example.

I also won some comic contests in Germany and got printed and everything. What the jury didn´t
know was that my story didn´t have an end or a proper plot. So people come to me and ask me
when they can read the full story and I´m like there is no story, I never came up with an end
or what the story leads too

Sometimes it’s like that I myself struggle with my story sometimes because stories are hard to keep track of and mange and you can make a million out comes for it but only choose one or many or none at all

And it’s neat you do other things besides making stories or drawing like writing music I also do that just not as often

Good writing is avoiding errors like this.

A (prose story) that's all dialogue and no description anywhere.

Being overly descriptive is also bad. Don't use a million synonyms to sound smart. And being extremely ornate is also annoying. Purple prose is not a good thing. Try to avoid being overly purple.

Telling instead of showing isn't always bad, btw, but don't overly tell, and don't show everything either.

Inconsistent grammar and punctuation is a big one for me. Especially with run-ons that have limited punctuation.

Showing not telling is also important yet one I am still working on. It is a rough mountain to climb and requires some serious commitment.

Also, big changes in stories that are very sudden. While I think plot twists and major events are expected, when they are consistent with absolutely no rhyme or reason -- they are annoying. Also, I heavily dislike characters that follow a single trope to a tee. I don't mind if characters follow certain tropes or patterns. But my goodness every chatacter feels (and is drawn) the same for certain fantasy (in particular) webcomic or story. They are just rotated around webtoon by webtoon. There is no originality.

Also, what's with characters in writing only being the ages of 17 - 22? Maybe that's a more me issue as that's what I see often, but I would love to see main characters in their mid 20s, 30s, etc.
