Well, my ideal palace would not be a palace, but a huge manor, primarily with Georgian-era architecture. You know the sort of thing - huge neoclassical facade at the front of the house, perhaps six rectangular, twelve-panelled windows each on either side of the facade, shutters on the inside. On the interior, it would have a ballroom with a huge fireplace, a large library, maybe a stone-floored, old-fashioned kitchen. Basically, the kind of English Georgian era manor house you often tend to see in films set during that time period.
