Adi's an elf, so she's from a high-fantasy setting where dragons and magic and the like are very real and known. Folks being born with access to magic aren't common, but they aren't newsworthy levels of rare, either, except maybe in their own hometowns. So it's unlikely she'd be all that amazed/confused/surprised by Julian having magic. That doesn't mean she wouldn't have... thoughts, though.
Adi: "Okay? So you have magic. That's not that weird. At least, not where I come from. Oh... magic is totally unheard of where you're from, and you have it for no currently understood reason? That's... that's fine. I don't have access to magic and no one knows why, which is deeply weird and unheard of in my hometown. We're like opposites."
(Grumbling to herself: "...random human kid gets access to magic and I don't... that's fine. That's fine. I'm fine.")
