It randomly came to me when I was in either 7th or 8th grade lol. I was walking with my friend, telling them about my manga idea and it literally just popped up in my head!
That was over 17 years ago :flushed:

The title "The Kitten and Its White Canvas" came after a couple of glasses of wine and a time staring at the storyboard I finished :joy::joy:

But hey, there's meaning! The "White Canvas" refers to the schoolboy - Addai - whose daily life was colored in monochromatic hues. The "White" refers to how colorless his life was despite his tries in art classes. The Kitten came to paint new colors - emotions - into the boy's life, painting on his Life's Canvas by offering him a flower a day (I used the Canvas analogy due to his art classes).
That's it!

that's sweet though, and it does form an interesting concept of the story

That's so cool... I love the delayed gratification of the meaning of a title finally clicking into place like a puzzle piece.

17 years ago! I've been developing my story for a long time, too, over 10 years. I think it's awesome that we're finally putting our dream on the page, making it real.

Right!
I didn’t actually start putting the pen to the pad until 2020!
I’m so excited for the future!

The name is kind of a double entendre for both the initial plot of the story and also the thought process of me creating the strip in the first place, which I thought was kind of cool Lmao!! The Experiment

My story is about three characters who will go through life either learning to permit themselves to move on from their past or not! So, pretty simple then, "Permitted".

The title of this story existed before I wrote it. It's actually a line in the song evermore by Taylor Swift. I had the idea when I kept listening to it and the line always stuck with me. Then, bam! I wanted to write a bittersweet story about it and here it is :))

Curious about the Poppy Contract? Find more about it in this chapter released just this week in Letter Addressed To The Fire!

Letter Addressed To The Fire is a story told in letters, diaries, journals, documents, and the likes, aside from the main characters' thoughts. It is a story about prodigies of rival groups finding solace in one another without knowing who the other really is. It is a bittersweet story that speaks about finding gentleness amidst a cruel world.

Thank you!

I actually have a few stories where the chapter titles are named after songs, so this is always interesting to me. stories with titles and such inspired by songs seems to be a pretty popular thing amongst writers

(post withdrawn by author, will be automatically deleted in 24 hours unless flagged)

I did get help from a friend on the title, but its still directly tied to my story's concept! Since my comic is based on a borrower who was caught by a human and held captive in a fish tank. The borrower is also obsessed with the fine china in the humans dollhouse in the attic! So "Fine China and Glass Walls" seemed to be the best fit!

this sounds horrible, i hope she gets free

For "Complex Love," the idea behind the title is straightforward. The relationship between the main leads - Mine Karawaga and Addai Lee-Hobb - is formed among the mess made by their encounter. Mine has a lot on his back and struggles to regain his memories and control his dangerous Alter Ego called "Chronos." Addai hides his identity from the others once his "roots" are eager to claim him back for unknown purposes.
Their relationship is sweet and supportive, but the things they buried in the sands of time are effortlessly coming to light as they get to know each other better

My comic comes from the fact that my name means "young wolf " abnd when i was a kid my father got me a frame with a beautiful white wolf howling in the bright snow, he told me that was me so i became fascinated with my name and with werewolves, after many years i created some characters, i got them toghether from anoher stories i had and the main cast of the comic was done, now these characters are very beloved my me.

Imma be so real. I’m so proud of my title. I remember coming up with it and the just sitting in it for a while with pure pride.
So it’s about the worst possible thing to happen on your first day of school and the main character’s name is Casey
Worst Case Scenario

Pun and all, I love it

XD. Three out of four of my titles so far took me a while to come up with, my editor helped me with "Damsel in the Red Dress" and "A Dozen Morning Glories" but "Rigamarole" is the one I'm ridiculously proud of.

Oh, gotta credit my little brother for the title "Sun with a Paper Crown" I'm so proud of that one too, but me and lil bro spent like an hour brain storming it, so I don't have a right to be that proud XD. No puns in these series yet, but there may be some coming in my comics soon lol.
