I accidentally deleted my story of Webtoons. Is there a way I could get it back?

I just deleted one of my proudest series by accident. It had 80 uploads and 12k subscribers. Spent around 1.5 years making it. What do I do now?

You can try email webtoon support. They may take a while to give an answer if there are a lot of request, but they don't ignore emails.

Do you know how long it usually takes?

For some, a day. For others, one month. Just send them an email and hope for the best.

Naver's Korean customer service folks (who do not speak English) respond very quickly, because Korea is all about speed. It's a country where next day delivery is considered slow.

Just a guess, but I don't think the same can be said for Webtoons customer service, even if you ask them in Korean. They know they're dealing with people from outside of Korea.

That suck O_O They should really implement a 2 day system (as in the series simply goes grey and can't be found, but can be restore by the creator during 48 hours just in case). Reupload once a day till you reach where you left off is all the option that I can give.

What Webtoons should do is not put the delete button right next to the edit and stats button. It's much too easy to accidentally delete it when it's just a regular ol button next to frequently clicked stuff. It should be a much more complicated clicking process to actually terminate your story. It's my biggest fear when using that site, to be honest x_x

omg the thought of this is terrifying!!!! And I really agree with @BlackRose108 They need to make it harder to delete your series.

I'm going to email them and bring this to their attention, anyone else who agrees should email them too because if enough people complain they may change it.

I'm going to ask that they do 2 things to make deleting a series harder
1)move the button so it's not next to all the important buttons like edit, or even the scroll up and down side arrow thing on my desktop)
2) they should require human authentication (Ask me for my login and password for example) before I can confirm.

Imagine leaving your account open and an angry sibling just decides to delete it- oh the horror.

I think it'd also be great if they made it more annoyingly alarming (Bright Red/ Yellow type of popup that is like WAIT ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO DELETE EVERYTHING?) Like don't make it look like all the other stuff.

This is a good idea. I'm gonna email them as well. I encourage others to do the same, even if you haven't had any problems with it yet. Maybe if enough people do Webtoons will see it as a real problem (because it is a real problem) and make some layout changes?
