I dunno how to word that lol.
I am an artist with a comic all written out and stuff, well, most of it, I can handle the art (barely)
I, however, suck at doing the planning of panels and stuff, the layout if you will.
I was thinking of finding someone who is good at planning their panels and making comics flow well, they don't have to be a good artist, just good at placing panels and coming up with different angles so the comic isn't a boring run of 'close up, close up, half body, back to close up, etc.
They'd have to read the script I've written and just sketch out the comic as they imagine it playing, it can be as rough as a dirt road, stickmen even, as long as it gets the idea across - then I'd go in and do the prettier art, a real team effort xD
While I am learning composition, it takes a lot of time, and I'll be dead by the time I get good.
I realised I just don't have the skill or imagination yet to do anything other than plain boring scenes of two people just standing there talking, I wanna have more than that, I want it to be interesting like the comics I read on tapastic, not bland and awkward looking like my current attempts xD
I'd like to get a start on my comic and I was wondering if anyone knows of a place where one can find, team members? (I guess you'd call them that) who want to join up and make a comic together.
I tried googling but I dunno what to google really, and everything I typed in gave me nothing.
Any help is appreciated.
I'd settle for some good tutorials in the meantime as well if you have any recs.
I want to learn to be able to eventually do it myself too. (Not enough time in the day to study everything we need to unfortunately)
