Woooh I wanna join xD

My favorite dinosaurs are the Triceratops and the brontosaurus, why? I don't know, I find them cute XD and I wish I could ride on a bronto and then throw myself on its neck like from a slide (yeah, it stayes as dream though but it still looks beautiful in my mind :'D)
1. When I was a little, around 7, during gym class, out teacher was kinda in a hurry so he was forcing as to do the exercises fast, and we had to do the tumble (I think that's the name of the exercise in which you roll on the flor and then get up, if you understand, I'm bad explaining this xD hhhh) so when it was my turn I said to the teacher that I didn't know how to do it and the teacher was like "just do it fast, I don't have time", and my classmates were also pushing me so when I did it... something happened to my neck, whenever I tell people this they are like "that's impossible, you'd be dead right now", basically apparently something like a sprain happened in my neck, and my father took me to the hospital, even he said it was impossible to this to happen, so I was like for 2 weeks in bed without moving. AND... here I am, a miracle of life xD
2. If you ask me which kind of pet I like, I like dogs. If you ask what kind of breed, I will say all of them, yes, ALL of them. I see all dogs as cute, even pits, or bulldogs, for me they are all lovable fur things.
3. I love to take photos of beautiful landscapes, old architecture, and also admire old paintings, also stare to them <3

And before I forget, I'm the author of Final Light

Your dinosaur logic is excellent! These two dinos (including my Anky) are some of the best to ride, in my dreams.
1. Why does everybody gotta rush something as potentially hurtful as throwing yourself onto the ground? That instructor and the students were total jerks. I'm glad you didn't break your neck. Incidentally, I took a gymnastics class as a kid and LOVED tumbling. I felt like an action movie hero. And I wouldn't have told you to go faster, I would have literally showed you how to tumble... even if you didn't want me to, cuz I was weird kid.
2. Then I will never force you to choose. I like Huskies myself.
3. Do you ever find hidden, deeper meaning just on the periphery of the images? I do. Though I might be hallucinating.

Ikr, I'd feel like a queen of the world, just by ridding my dino!.... in my dreams xD
1.The good thing is that the teacher never asked me to do that exercise ever again, still was a miracle my neck didn't break, but I remember my head hurt and I only heard some kind of pitch in my ears and everything looked weird. Like when you spin for too long and then you stop and can't even stay still.
2. I had a husky when I was a little, he had instead of the black part, he had it brown-redish, and had blue eyes, he was a wonderful dog, I just want to have one in the future again <3
3. I went to the beach past Saturday, and I went to walk alone to explore, and I found these rocks, actually is like the attraction of the city, sadly I couldn't get a better photo because the sea was pretty wild and the waves were too high, these rocks were like this but it looked like a door, portal, something, actually it's called "Window", I had a photo were those holes made like a face of someone screaming but apparently my phone didn't save the photo (my phone is an ass). But yep, like that I found it fascinating, and beautiful itself smiley

How could you not feel awesome riding a dinosaur? Even getting groceries would be way cooler.
1. That....that sounds like you ALMOST broke your neck. :-o
2. See? Every Husky I've met has been a total sweetheart. But don't be offended... I'm more of a cat person. I know! The betrayal!
3. There is a story there! You need to make it! That's the cool thing about being out in nature. Its that something like this arch near the beach has been seen by who knows how many people throughout the centuries. And each one of them has seen something different. Its beautiful that way. ...other than being just a beautiful location. Haha

1.YEP, almost. But good it didn't happen smile
2. Why would I be offended? It's your preference and I respect it, I'm more of a dog person. Specially since my mom has some kind of a trauma with cats, so I grew up with a dog. I have nothing against cats, actually I'd like to have one, but obviously I will choose more the dog side x3
3. There are a bunch of things I've lived or stories I've heard cause I had to travel some years ago to the south of my country, and for some reason in Chile whenever you see lanscape there will be a story about witches, or mythical creatures or even about the Devil, so everything is always surrounded by that magic and mistery of the local folklore.

  1. Agreed!
  2. Okay, just being careful. Some dog people get... TWITCHY when I mention my cat preference. But I'm not against having a dog. Even better if the dog is huge, but my cat is in charge and they're best friends. I can dream.
  3. Are you from Chile? That's cool! I'm from America. California to be exact. Folklore and mythology have been stuff I've loved since forever. Greek and Norse mythology are my personal favorites.
  1. Don't worry about it, not everyone can like the same things as you, also you don't hate them, so it's all good smiley
  2. Yep, the craziest country around xD Oh that's cool, I think I've talked to people from California before, from what I recall. I've liked Norse mythology but like now I wanted to go with something more traditional for my comic and there are plenty myths in my country which need to be known in a way. Oh also, I like egyptian too and got interested in arabic because of the arabian nights, but haven't investigated about it much further.
  1. See? We can all find our own happiness!
  2. Chile is cool! Go Chile! I would love to hear about some of the mythology from there. Egyptian and Arabic myths have some great stories.
  1. Absolutely x3
  2. Yeah, I actually liked to study a lot the Egyptian culture during school, I found it fascinating, so bad they didn't gave us anything about Arabic myths, they don't even mention to Solomon, like wot.
  3. Are you allergic to something? I'm pretty allergic to bug bites, and now in summer is just a hell for me cause the mosquitoes get very annoying frowning
  1. I would love to hear more about Solomon. What little I heard was pretty cool.
  2. I am allergic to two things, and they are medicines. But mosquitoes drive me insane. Where I live, there aren't any, because its a desert region, so not a lot of water just lying around. But I have family in Hawaii, and when I visit them, I get eaten alive. And they are so. Damn. ITCHY!

I have to say I love how everyone has talked about their fave dinosaur in this thread lol

Its one of my favorite go-to's for icebreaker conversation. Dinosaurs just resonate with a lot of people. They're one of the few subjects that is both real and scientifically proven, but they have this mythic quality to them like dragons. The perfect combination for the kids we were, and the kid in our hearts.

Hi @nathankschulz, Welcome! my comic is The Pale it's a drama mystery, murder, FBI agent comes to small town thing...

I should be trying to sleep (it's almost 2am here) but I'm bored... and my cat won't stop "owwing" at me. I'm just going to go off of your truth train... since the sleep train is pulling into the station.

  1. My favorite dinosaur is Triceratops. I had a little plastic toy triceratops when I was a kid... and I named him Tricer. I thought I was so original. Tricer was a guard to a windup mouse king and was a mechanic.. the other toys knew better than to mess with him.

  2. I broke my wrist when I was running on the playground in first grade. I was racing Brian Campbell to the monkey bars and somehow we tripped over each others legs... bam... landed on my left arm. He did not break any bones. I had a cast and was upset that my parents wouldn't let me draw on it or have anyone sign it. I mean, isn't that the other reason to have a cast?

  3. I don't do sports... that's why I draw... duh wink But I do like to run... trying to get back into that.

okay... here comes my train.
CHooo Chooooooo!

Its darn hard to do anything else when the sleep train comes a'calling...
1. Tricer sounds like a tough dude, but a good one. Just trying to keep the peace. Its tough being sheriff.
2. I had a cast for my right arm, and hell yeah I drew on that sucker. Can't believe you were denied that little comfort.
3. Yeah, I need to exercise. No big surprise there. Living the couch potato life has a lot of drawbacks.
Truth Train being waved on in!

Hi Nathan! You're subscribed already but I'm Annabel and my webcomic is Polyphemus! (:

For my three facts...

1: I feel like I have to pick a favourite dinosaur seeing as that's what everyone else is doing. Luckily, I was obsessed when I was little! I thought I wanted to be a palaeontologist and a little part of me still kind of does... But I think my favourite would be either a diplodocus (I've always felt a weird affinity for them for some reason) or an anaconda because those snakes were around in dinosaur times and so to me they were dinosaurs too. I was absolutely in love with them when I was little and I was very sad when that Nicki Minaj song was named after them.

2: I actually haven't broken any bones yet but I did hit my head an awful lot when I was little. The first time was when I was 3 and I heard my dad calling me for dinner. I was so excited about the prospect of food that in running to the kitchen I tripped on a step, hit my head on a radiator and had to be rushed to hospital. I still have the scar reminding me of it and honestly, I can imagine doing the exact same thing today! Food is just too good...

3: I'm so much of a mythology nerd that I read the entire Iliad and Odyssey when I was seven. I'm still impressed by that because at age seven I was too scared of Fluffy to read Harry Potter! I'm not really sure how I managed it...

Hi

Jarred here all the way from South Africa.
I am the founder of Kaos Produktion Studios, a virtual illustration and design company.
I am the creator, writer, illustrator behind Super-Dud and Juvies

  1. T-Rex all the way!
  2. Never broken a bound... (touch wood)
  3. I'm a huge Marvel fan! love he comics, characters and movies. All time fave superhero is Spider-Man!

Hi Annabel!
1. I'm very happy people want to reveal their favorite dinosaur. It feels pretty darn good to have started that. Well, if it makes you feel better, Minaj isn't talking about the snake so much as she's talking about.... RELATIONSHIPS and communicating with those we love. stuck_out_tongue
2. Food is so dang good. I should wear a helmet myself! I was 3 as well, when I climbed a dresser and then straight fell on our TV. I have a scar over my left eye to remind me of why my spelunking days are over before they began.
3. Mythology is just awesome! And the kind of archaic way it reads makes it more like learning facts and non-threatening situations than how well J.K. Rowling described everything. (She's a really good author).

Hey Jarred! South Africa, eh? That is awesome! All the way from California, USA myself! Pleasure to meet you!
1. King of the Dinosaurs! Woo!
2. And I hope you never do! It is not a pleasant experience.
3. Marvel and DC! I love them both. Thor and Green Lantern are my favorites! But Spider-Man is awesome, that's for sure.

1: Haha yes, I suppose that is indeed true d:

2: It really is! And gosh, my scar is on the right side in my parting where my hair starts - we must have opposite scars! ^-^

3: That's a good point, I guess the Ancient Greek texts aren't quite as engrossing as J.K.Rowling. The Odyssey was meant to be told aloud after all, not read!

  1. Its in the metaphors, I think
  2. My scar is like an crescent at the end of my eyebrow. Its small and faded.
  3. I'm pretty sure you'd have been scared if a big greek dude was yelling the Odyssey at you. Haha
