I drew a furry for the first time…and I don’t know how to feel about the results!

So for a while now I’ve been interested in drawing furries. However, I never tried until now since I hear a lot of people hate on that type of style. But today I found a book about drawing Furries so I bought it and have it a try!

This is my first time drawing anything like this so feedback, criticism, and advice would be appreciated!

I feel like he's missing a shoulder. And that was a really thicc neck. But overall he looks cute lmao.

I think you did a great job. I haven't got much experience with furry art, but, if you ask me, the head is a little bit too big compared to the body.
Also, just like silverraven0 mentioned, the shoulder seems a bit small

Since you're new drawing anthros/furries you can check others for ref. and slowly develop your style. There's a lot of stylized furry/anthro artstyle that you can try.

If you're more into beast-like realistic style with anatomical corrected paws & snouts. Here's an example:

And there's the typical western vs eastern anthro/furry "kemono" art style. This is a good comparison:

Or you want to go for other stylized art or cartoonish, there's always Disney: Zootopia and others anthromorphic movies & shows & comics.
