I forgot my password and don't have access to my old e-mail anymore, is there a way to change my e-mail without passwort confirmation?

Hey! Years ago I created an account on tapas. I used an e-mail address that was created by my father as I was a minor at the time. He eventually deleted the e-mail without telling me... this would be a long story to tell, so to keep it short: I went no-contact with him at 18. I eventually changed the e-mail address to a different one... or at least I thought I had done so. But I think I possibly forgtot to click the confirmation button/link? I still have the e-mail send to my current e-mail with the name of my account.

However I have forgotten the passwort to my account. I now only have access to my account through the tapas app on my phone. And when I wanted to change the passwort I realised that I am logged in with the old e-mail. Then when I went to change the e-mail address to the current one so I can change the passwort I realised I need the passwort for that...

So now I can change neither the passwort nor the e-mail address and will not only lose access if I ever get logged out but also can't update the story I have been posting. I wanted to make an update today after a long time of me not updating becasue of my mental health.

Is there an way I can change the e-mail address to my curent one without knowing the password?

Maybe you can contact the official support and ask them to think of a solution for you?

There's a help button at the bottom right corner of the TAPAS homepage where you can ask for official assistance.

I've sought help there before, and their response time was quite fast.

That sounds like a good idea. I did not know that was an option - I did look into the 'help' area you can click on when you go to 'more' options on the top of the page, but there is nothing helpful there. I then tried to open the 'contact' page, but nothing happens when I click on that. So I asked here in hopes someone would be able to help out.
