I got ideas and want your opinions on them (please)

I noticed that there are a lot of Slice-of-Life comics out there (or at least they're popular right now) and some people have a s-o-l comic that relates to another story they have
I've got some ideas and I want people's opinions on them...
In my upcoming series, Hybrid, I want to feature comments (like MylCreates does for Death Prince) and show the reactions/replies/responses of myself and/or the character(s)
But I don't know if I should put the responses into the s-o-l I've been wanting to make or have it in the actual series. What do you think I should do?
Now, as for my s-o-l series I've been debating on, it will mainly be a "gag-a-day" comic, but it will update whenever I feel like it
It will most likely feature my main OC, Laurena, and/or my 'id' OC (as in ego, alter/super ego, and id) ZuXana
AND in Chibi-form~<3
To know how ZuXana is, here's what you will need to know: She represents my id. She is a Shapeshifter. She abuses her abilities to get what she wants, when she wants, how she wants, no questions asked. If it hurts others, the better she feels. I put the darkest things about me into her personality. She flirts with all, is rude to all, and tries to do all. My thoughts that have to be 'filtered' are what she says aloud.
(In other words, when I say the first thing on my mind, it's what ZuXana would say. My friends have even started saying "Shut up ZuXana" whenever I say something extremely rude or perverted)
So do you guys want to see that? She can be pretty funny. ~wiggles eyebrows~
I would definitely feature her for any Q&A's and maybe even a 'Thanks for the Sub' thing :/
I haven't thought this all through so if you have any ideas, please say something. I'd love to hear what you have to say about this.
Lastly: I need ideas for a name if I decide to create this s-o-l comic. I want it to be similar to Kurumi's After Hours (btw relatively funny comic) I love the ring to that name. It sounds nice I was thinking something along the lines of Behind the Realms (of Hybrid) or ZuXana's Secrets
What are your ideas? I'd love to hear them.
Alright, that's all I got right now. Please feel free to give feedback. Even if it is just "buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutts" or honest critique that may be seen as harsh. I want honest opinions on this people, so please don't try to sugar-coat it if you don't like the idea. And, I know that I probably should wait to ask this until I've actually got my series up and running, but this has been gnawing at my brain for awhile.

a beautiful thing that is the reason for Slice of life comics being so popular is that they are super flexible and super informal. Honestly, I think you should just go for it. You don't get results by not trying. Slice of Life comics are meant to be relational to people, so if one of the ways that you do that is by having the characters talk to the readers, then dope, that sounds like a well off plan to me. (Do be careful with not having a schedule because it gets really easy to procrastinate if there are no expectations on when it will release) As far as the name for the comic goes, don't worry too much about it, but i will say this, keep it simple and attractive. For example, "A King or Whatever" is a comic that got huge, and i honestly think that the name alone is what got people to fall in love with it (it did for me), so keep in mind that the name is readers first impression, so keep it simple and attractive. maybe make it some sort of witty two word joke. IDK.
Also, you talked about how SOL's are popular, I just want to make sure that you are doing it because YOU want to do it, not just because you want popularity. That is rule #1 with self-published comics, they are yours and you shouldn't feel obligated to make something that you don't want to just to get noticed. Just be careful, ok?

alright thanks! i mainly pointed out s-o-l comics being popular cuz i didnt want people to be like "ugh not another one of those comics. can there be some change here?" n whatnot (A King or Whatever is a cool comic. i like the ring to its name. owo") i obviously want to have my stories and ideas noticed, n Tapastic is a great site for that. il definitely take ur suggestions for the name into consideration (hmm... witty two word joke... "ZuXana's Babbles" would work... it could be seen as funny since my character ZuXana cant keep a secret EVER owo") i mainly asked for opinions cuz i really do wanna make a s-o-l comic and wanted ideas/opinions/suggestions/advice/etc :S im definitely gonna keep what u said in mind :3

I agree with @mick33x. You should just go for it. Having said that, it actually depends a lot on the nature of the non-s.o.l. series. Extremely serious series might have their flow disrupted by a more cartoony meta version. If you want to be safe, go the s.o.l. route.

This is especially true if you plan on having a huge number of these s.o.l. moments. If you really only want to do maybe a few of these omake-style strips, then it would be perfectly fine, and even refreshing, to have them within the scope of your main series.

It's something of a gray area, but go ahead and plunge into it anyway.

yay gray areas! XD my main story is going to be rather serious and emotional, so having a dorky s-o-l on the side along with a few ridiculously funny characters in the main story could definitely counter-balance that (to get a general idea of how emotional and serious my story will be, read Hacheeachkee and Samurai Genji)
ZuXana's Babbles (ive decided to name my s-o-l series that) is definitely meant to disrupt the morbid flow of my main story Hybrid and will have A LOT of omake-style strips (i had to briefly google it) although the fourth wall breaking will go to a couple of characters in my main story. one is a MAJOR otaku neko-girl. the other... well he's a rabbit-being that is bi, perverted beyond all reason, and will be more of a 'talking to the audience' kind of character... i may have him in my 'thank you' things like subscribing/100+ subs/etc :S im a little tired cuz school recently started this year so all that may or may not make sense

I'm not a story-writing expert, so this statement is probably as valid as imitation cheese

I like slice of life stories. But the reason I like them is because changes. I like getting to know the characters personality and then watch it "fight" against the character's environment when things start to change. Is the character an asshole? How do they react when an even bigger, stronger asshole challenges their ego? How does the character react in a powerless situation? What does the character do when their personality endangers others or themselves? Does their personality hold them back from adapting to their environment? How do they overcome this? It doesn't always have to be an "adapt or die" situation, but I'm sure you understand what I mean. Getting to know a character's personality (especially if they're outgoing) can be fun, but the point of the story is to throw challenges at them and see what happens. It's no fun when nothing happens.
I've seen a few sol cartoony comics much like the type you're describing. They don't have a linear storyline, but we still get to see how the character's distinct personalities affect their actions and outcomes, even when the humor is extremely silly.
I think, for the type of character you have, you could come up with some really creative stuff :3

wow. im definitely taking this into consideration. i was describing my idea for ZuXana's Babbles to my mom and she said "So it's TMZ for your other story?"
yup. it is. ZuXana's Babbles will be the TMZ for Hybrid
