-Is skilled (at the very least, they should have one thing going for them that I can't/won't do)
-Is confident (It's easier to fight for someone who wants to fight for themselves! And on the flipside, someone who's always denigrating themselves has the appearance of an artist in search of constant validation, and I cannot give that)
-Is enthusiastic (You don't have to be ultra-peppy or anything...but watching someone act as if they don't like their work or if they don't even care about their work really kills the mood. Like...why should I care if you don't? Why even post it online??)
-Is nice (niceness is nice~)
-Is respectful of other artists (You're entitled to your 'anime is trash' and 'romance novels are too easy' opinions. I'm entitled to my opinion of your character based on those opinions.)
-Is "real" (If you act like a smiling Barbie doll all the time online, I stop feeling like I'm interacting with a person and start feeling like I'm interacting with one of those corporate accounts. Like...you don't have to be happy about everything; no one will think ill of you if you spend one second not being cute. Especially when it comes to talking about other people's work: if my more serious stories/scenes make you uncomfortable, you don't have to say anything. Leaving a comment that blatantly dances around what's actually happening in the plot just so you can keep up your 'cute' persona is, frankly, insulting.)
