Hello! I'm an amateur writer with experience in poetry and romance, and aspirations of getting published through a traditional publisher. I'm from Spain, 23 years old, and I've been seriously into manga and anime for about ten years.
I'm looking for an artist who is committed and serious, with a traditional manga art style, something like Bakemonogatari or Citrus, to collaborate on an isekai manga.
The story is an isekai with a darker and more realistic tone, similar to the early chapters of The Rising of the Shield Hero, but with touches of humor inspired by Monogatari Series. The main character is a social outcast. I prefer not to share too much of the plot here, but those who are truly interested will receive the prologue and first few thousand words to get a feel for the project.
So far, I’ve written around 30,000 words, and I already have character sheets, a world map, economic systems, countries, religions, and dozens of ideas ready to expand as the story develops. I'm open to adjustments. The full story will be long — I estimate about 300,000 words in novel format. As a manga, it will be shorter since much of the description is replaced by artwork.
Of course, this is a non-paid collaboration, as I’m not making any money from it yet. My goal is to publish through a professional publisher and split profits 50/50. That said, I would like the rights to remain under my ownership, simply because I see it as my personal creation — but I’m open to discussing a fair legal agreement in the future.
Lastly, my English is not perfect, but I will do my best to make communication easy and the collaboration smooth and enjoyable. Although I plan to publish in Spain, I also aim to release an English version digitally.
