I read the author's post and he/she is charging others on $15 per page ...

While the TOP professional Mangaka & Cartoonist in the world will actually PAY & PROMOTE their assistants ...

What I found weird is they're changing peopyes when they're drawing it for them but paying peoples with... Nothing.

(I don't want to be overly harsh but 100 pages of line work and coloring for nothing? We all knew exposure = nothing at all, so there's no need for me to say more at this point)

But if there's an artist here that is looking for practice on their line work and coloring, you at least need to shows the examples of pages you've done.

I am inking and coloring a 100 pages comic and I agreed to make it for a very low price because I really want to help this person to make her dream comic and she lacks the skill to ink, use Photoshop, etc.

I'm curious about this project, you clearly have the skill to make the comic yourself, and you also seem to have the time to work on it because you are replying to paid collab post. Is there a reason why you need to rely on someone to do this? It is a long project (100 pages take so long to make), is there something you can offer other than "give you credit"?

Anyway I agree that it is rather unfair to give only "exposure" for inking and coloring 100 pages, as lot of effort poured to it --even sometime those works constitute more than half of the whole process I meant inking and coloring a page (in prime quality) can take half a day, a whole day or more! You're making them working for say... 25, 50 or 100 days without being paid.

Also how does exposure will help the artists? Sorry if I sound rude, but who are you? Are you that big of an artist that your shout out will guarantee them easy time looking for jobs? Even for artists as big as Sakimichan is still unethical for them to pay someone with exposure.

Wasn't it's about how much they charge for a service they offer, not actually charging someone for coloring their pages? Sorry if I got it wrong though

Yet still, if they dare to put a price on their service, they should dare to pay someone they ask for service with a price At least split the ownership of the project and the future profit.

Why do you need someone else to ink and color for you? You'll get a better response from the community by giving more information, including examples, and being generally more forthright.

I can't colour for you but I can suggest an app. Go to google play store and search Photo Editor . you will find an app with blue thumbnail and white camera embossed on it after scrolling down a bit. I use it to color my webcomic. It's easy to use. Here is the link to my comic, if you wish for a demo.
