Hi there, myself and @MinNCompany are working on a project together. And we're looking for advice on the best way to upload it here on Tapas.
Min has a large following and is a well established creator here on Tapas, I'm more of a newcomer with a small but dedicated audience. We're thinking of making a shared Tapas account to upload this new project, but the trouble comes from how we're going to funnel our audiences towards this new account.
One thing we've considered is that on our own personal accounts we upload a small preview series advertising the new project, each preview would contain a unique cover, the first scene of our new project, and then links to the other person's page as well as our new shared account. The problem with this is that migrating audiences around is a tad risky, and while we think it would work we're hoping that there's a better way to do this, or for advice on how to make it move over more smoothly.
The other option we considered was pitching our series to Tapas as a premium comic, since premium comics have a shared-project feature, but our project is in page-format and pretty short as well. We don't think Tapas would go for it, but if they did that might cause some other problems as well (for example, we would like to be able to sell printed copies, and we don't want to be pressured into expanding the story or making sequels)
Right now this is our biggest point of confusion. If any of you have experience uploading a collaborative project with an already established creator and have advice, we're all ears. Thank you for your time!
