I need some comic cover ideas for the Elsie reboot

[cila_the_great]

Soooo… as you know, Elsie is getting a revamp. I was thinking it could be a little minimalist.

Here is the logo rendered by @llobuyoboocerval

Maybe it could be half of Elsie’s face and it’s her in goggles instead of her typical mask. I just need some advice on composition and stuff.
But that’s my idea. I want it to be versatile across multiple platforms and I think this idea might work.

[pinkpetals155]

That looks so gorge!!! Honestly I really like it it’s so mechanical but I think maybe with your suggestions it’ll really pop not that it doesn’t already

[cila_the_great]

I made a flatter version of it too

[2DLenzy]

Honest, I saw the "flat" version of your title and this was all my brain could come up with. I saw the face sorta in the title logo and I couldn't unsee it. Pardon my sketch it's been a minute since I've seen Elsie.

I'm personally a fan of the "Z" composition, or diagonal comps in general, leads the eye across the title, down her hair/smoke, across the skyline, then your author name.

Not sure if the 3d title would work with this? It's okay if this isn't what you were thinking, just an idea from my crazy brain.

Duuuuude! I LOVE it!!

Just finished these too

[2DLenzy]

I really like the new and improved Elsie! She looks gorgeous! I like the texture on her suit in the last drawing too.

[cila_the_great]

Me too! The suit looks much more comfortable and practical. Like a suit of armor

I need some feedback. Can you guys read the lettering okay?

[pinkpetals155]

Yes I can read it it’s ver clear

[PeteLensing]

The lettering is readable but it could be better.
White rectangles without black borders.
I have to go closer to the screen when I want
to read the top panel and don´t have to do that
when I want to read the bottom panel.

The disadvantage is that the white speech rectangle covers
background but IMO readability has priority

[cila_the_great]

So like this
