I need y'all's feedback on my cover! (Also, 1 subscrier away from 25 <.<)

This is my series! It's a sci-fi/fantasy comic series with aspects of horror.

Below is its cover, and it's something I spent about a week on. I'm very proud of it!

However, I can't help but feel that it doesn't really compete with the covers others have. Can y'all give me some feedback on it? I feel like maybe it's losing me potential traffic-

I think it’s a bit hard to tell what’s happening, cause the white of them mask and the title distract from the skeleton on the front, who also blends into the background. Also, I genuinely cannot tell if the mask is spewing smoke, or poorly drawn blood.
The cover isn’t terrible by any means, but you should probably figure out a different design

I LOVE the title design itself, but I agree mostly with blackcat, with the skeleton being overtaken by the blood/smoke. The soul/wispy looking thing is cool though, matches the Reaper vibe well, so I'd keep that in. I think you just need to practice rendering the red stuff a bit, maybe brighten a few areas, and fade out some of it around the skeleton's face so it's more clear.

I don't know if the mask is important, but if it isn't, you could take it out and center the figure a little more?

That's just my opinion. I'm about to redo my cover myself, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Skeleton should pop more. Consider doing the blood more solidified, splattered, and like it’s really pouring out of the mouth rather than the opaque way it is now cause it’s more misty than blood pouring. Maybe slightly brighter red to would just catch more eyes. Other than that the design is good.
