I started my second novel - share your seconds (Comics/novels)

Hey! So after the debacle with my laptop this morning, I decided to go ahead and start working on my second novel. I posted the first chapter (linked below) and thought it'd be fun to do a thread of second works! So share your second work that you've done on Tapas. Comics or novels are fine <3

This will only update weekly, probably. It's intended to be a more fun/less stress project for me. There's a shark monster guy and a poor fisherman and they're gonna fall in love. If it sounds like something you'd like, then check it out and let me know what you think!

Congrats on your first novel!!! I am so in love with the premise already HAHAHA! Shark monster and fisherman! What more could I possibly ask for!? Gave it one fat sub rightaway!

As for the theme of this thread, my second novel is a horror novel: Megachurch! It's about cults, BDSM, abuse, and all that fun stuff for the family hahahahaha! It's skehri! ...and it's gay! I really enjoyed writing this more than my first novel since it's sooo much less demanding to write! I am actually thinking of dropping my first novel and focus on this one more in the future.

That's my current mindset towards this second one! Something less demanding and just a little more chill. My first had so many moving pieces and this one I just want to focus on these two and have some fun lol

Gosh yes, I feel you on this one in a spiritual level hahahaha! I feel like I bit myself in the ass with my first novel since it's too big and too grand for me! But I'm too reckless and naive, so I still went along with it anyway! HAHAHAHA! Oddly enough, my second novel, which is supposed to be less stressing and demanding than my first one, is horror! Hahahahaha! Strange how life works sometimes.

I scheduled my second novel on Tapas to start on September 1st. It's an older book, but I never put it up where people could see it.

On the verge of graduating as a mage, Xi, a patriotic but cold-blooded prodigy, searches for the new weapon to defeat the demonic Horde—the extinct dragons. But unless he forsakes his ambitions, his first love, and even his humanity, the demons would tear his land apart.

As I've already finished my first novel elsewhere, I'm uploading the second alongside the first here.

I have a small comic that is in the same universe as my main comic (kind of like a little side series). It's comedy, and I have a few chapters on it but I tend to update every so often ^^

I've got 5 now, but #2 is a special one for me, it's the book where I really get to let the use of a thesaurus go wild. It's my only work for horror that I've got, it's got the least romance and the most action of any of my novels, it's just a mess of blood, murder, destruction and angst all wrapped up with a Bad Guy MC. If you want to read it, just a heads up: Intense Gore, Language, Dark Themes and Imagery. Seriously, this book makes Game of Thrones and the Saw movies look G-rated.
