I want to make the best one shot I can in a month. Is this a good method?

I know a month is nothing, nothing is perfect yadda yadda yadda. Here's the rub, is this effective?

Week 1

Throughout the week I make an outline a day in the morning. I read a short story during the midday and compare to mine, then in the afternoon I list all the problems with my outline and rewrite a new one the next day.

Do this for like 5 days.

Week 2 - 4

Write as many scenes as I can in the morning. Analyze related scenes and list related problems during the midday. Rewrite when I get home.

Do this until I finish. Is this stupid? What would you do different. Btw midday means at school, I just read the shit and take notes in my off time or during passing periods.

I think its a good start. A lot of it is time management and sticking to a set routine. Sometimes, I'll be at work and I think of really good dialogue or a scene I need to do a quick sketch on a Post-It note before I forget. I'll also use my phone for a Google Doc that has my scripts on it so it s all sync'd with my computers when I want to continue the thought after some time has past.

How long were you thinking of these one shots being? Does it fit in with your life schedule?
